Sun #173 is an anthology featuring the comic strip "Moko and Boko," which depicts two mischievous characters engaged in slapstick antics with a tar barrel; "The Joker's Fun Page," a collection of reader-submitted jokes with prizes offered for the best contributions; "My Pal Wagger," a complete story about young Ned and his friend Charlie who rescue a starving dog named Wagger and involve him in a burglary scheme; and "The School Against Him," a new serial by Martin Frazer following Jack Lawless, a boy who runs away from boarding school after a confrontation with his headmaster and solicitor, eventually escaping down a river to avoid recapture.
