Suicide Squad: Raise the Flag #5

The tagline says it all — "The Squad's All Here" — and this fifth chapter of the eight-issue Raise the Flag miniseries delivers exactly that promise. John K. Snyder III's cover assembles a formidable lineup marching straight at the viewer: a powerfully built, bare-chested figure leads the charge, flanked by a green-ring-wearing hero, a man with a pistol, a blue-skinned woman, a horned bruiser, a cybernetic soldier, a woman cradling a white rabbit amid flames, and a glowing green energy being whose toxic tendrils stretch wide across the background. With John Ostrander back on writing duties alongside artist Javier Pina and inker Robin Riggs, "Scarlet Tears" looks to keep this 2008 revival firing on all cylinders.
