Flag's old military unit, believed killed on a mission, now have deadly powers and are known as the Vets. They want revenge against Waller, who ordered the mission that killed them, and Flag, who failed to save them. They have implanted a brain bomb in Waller, and want Flag to detonate it. Meanwhile the rest of the Squad battles the Vets, while an unexpected ally enlists Harley to save the world by stopping a dangerous threat.
