Suicide Squad #41
"Constriction Part 1" kicks off a high-stakes mission when Deadshot pleads with Waller to let him go after Kobra, who’s taken his daughter Zoe. With Waller refusing, Batman intervenes, breaking Deadshot out of Belle Reve and joining the hunt—prompting Waller to send the Suicide Squad, now including new recruit Captain Cold, to stop them. Meanwhile, Kobra’s sinister plan unfolds: using a Lazarus Pit to resurrect Jason Burr and transfer his soul into Zoe’s body. Written by Rob Williams and illustrated by Eduardo Pansica, with inks by Júlio Ferreira, colors by Adriano Lucas, and letters by Pat Brosseau, the issue’s cover by Guillem March captures the tension in a stark, gripping image.
