In the frozen ruins of Admiral Byrd’s abandoned Antarctic outpost, "Little America," Namor, Namora, and Byrrah face a terrifying new threat—fire. When Namora knocks over a can of kerosene, the resulting explosion ignites the hut, and Namor must plunge into the flames to save his cousin, confronting a force utterly alien to his underwater world.
In "The Sub-Mariner and the Icebergs," the Atlantean warrior Sub-Mariner clashes with U.S. surface vessels in the Arctic, his fury fueled by centuries of isolation and fear. When Prince Byrrah, leader of the Atlantean people, also takes up arms against the surface world, a sudden warning from a U.S. expedition reveals a looming disaster—just in time for the Atlanteans to evacuate their hidden kingdom before a catastrophic explosion. Amid the ice and tension, a fragile understanding begins to form between the two worlds.
