Strangers in Paradise #23
In "The Fear Of Swimming," Terry Moore delivers another emotionally charged chapter of Strangers in Paradise, exploring intimacy, insecurity, and the quiet fractures beneath seemingly ordinary moments. As David grapples with sudden wealth and Casey reaches for connection in increasingly desperate ways, Francine confronts her own unease—only to return just as tensions peak. With Moore’s signature storytelling and expressive art, this 1999 issue captures the fragile, complicated dance of desire and self-worth, all rendered in his distinctive style, both cover by and interior by Terry Moore.
