“Torr”

In "Torr," Stan Lee and Steve Ditko deliver a chilling, dreamlike tale of paranoia and transformation, as fugitive Pierre La Roc seeks refuge in a wax museum—only to find the exhibits are far from still. The story unfolds with eerie precision, blending suspense and the uncanny as the frozen figures awaken, setting off a surreal chase that blurs the line between man and mimic. The cover by Jack Kirby and John Romita, inked by Dick Ayers and John Romita, captures the museum’s haunting atmosphere with striking detail.
