Strange Suspense Stories #61
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1962 Charlton anthology delivers the eerie goods with a cover by Dick Giordano that places two jumpsuit-clad astronauts squarely between a pair of looming, yellow-green alien figures inside a jagged alien cave, a star-filled cosmos visible through the opening behind them. One of the aliens declares, "Now you shall join my sightless slaves… forever!" — and the banner below promises "The Eyes of Doom!" as an added enticement. With interior work from writer Joe Gill and artist Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio on "From Out of Time," Strange Suspense Stories #61 is a thoroughly enjoyable slice of early-'60s sci-fi dread.
