This anthology issue contains three stories: "Up Into the Unknown," about the fate of test pilot Bob Carson; "Mad Dog," in which a brilliant biochemist named Aldo Kragg, a neo-Nazi party member with hatred for society, is arrested for attempting to overthrow the government; and an untitled story involving political corruption, where a man named John obtains evidence of gangsterism and corruption affecting a state, delivering the papers to authorities while being pursued by criminals who attempt to silence him. A fourth story features a man named Mr. Grimes who purchases a coastal property and later encounters an old man named Abner Noble near a shallow well on the land.
