“L'évasion”

In "L'évasion," Rom faces an unthinkable choice when Galactus arrives to devour Galador, forcing him to confront the world eater while Spaceknights battle Terrax. With Terminator sacrificing himself to buy time, Rom makes a desperate offer: lead Galactus to the lifeless Dark Nebula, a move that could save his world—but at a cost. Meanwhile, on Earth, the Dire Wraiths have already begun their silent takeover, infiltrating Clairton and wearing the faces of its people. Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Sal Buscema with inks by Joe Sinnott and colors by Ben Sean, this 1982 issue features a cover by Jean Frisano.

Galactus shows up on Galador and prepares to eat the planet. As the Spaceknights battle Terrax, Rom and Terminator confront Galactus directly. Terminator distracts Galactus long enough for Rom to sneak onto the world eater's ship. Galactus kills Terminator and confronts Rom. To save his planet, Rom offers to lead Galactus to a whole lifeless universe to feast on--the Dark Nebula of the Dire Wraiths. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Dire Wraiths capture the inhabitants of Clairton and impersonate them.
