Straight Arrow races to rescue young Swift Deer from a stampeding herd of wild mustangs, only to discover that the boy's near-fatal accidents are no coincidence—a mysterious group called the Grey Wolves is systematically hunting him. As Straight Arrow intervenes again and again, the masked threat escalates from avalanches to treacherous rapids, forcing the great Comanche war-chief to uncover who's behind the sinister plot and why Swift Deer has been marked for death.

In "The Telltale Beads," the ruthless outlaw Dude Bradley hunts a pearl necklace rumored to hold clues to his next target, setting off a chain of thefts across the frontier. When the necklace changes hands from the wary Blå Molnet to the quick-witted Tioga, each move brings the fugitive closer to a reckoning he may not survive.

When Lipan raiders steal the Cheyenne's sacred medicine-bag, Red Hawk refuses to accept the medicine-man's prophecy of seven years of misfortune and sets out in pursuit with Bigfoot and other warriors. Following a distinctive hoof-print, Red Hawk tracks the thieves across the lava flats, only to discover the Lipan warrior he catches doesn't have the bag—it's been hidden along the way. Red Hawk must use his wits to recover the sacred artifact before the Lipans can carry it back to their camp and destroy it forever.

In "Straight Arrow, Bandit," the lone rider Straight Arrow finds himself caught between justice and desperation when a bank heist goes awry and his friend Packy is taken hostage. To keep Packy safe, Straight Arrow must stage two robberies—posing as the very outlaws he’s sworn to stop—testing his courage and code in ways he never expected.
