Magazine Enterprises brings the supernatural West to vivid life in this 1953 installment of their popular frontier series. Fred Meagher's cover depicts Straight Arrow riding hard on his golden palomino, arrow in hand, while a pair of spectral Apache warriors — rendered in striking ghostly white — loom and charge from the left, lasso lines whipping through the air around them. The bold cover copy promises "The Ghost Apaches!" inside, and with an image this tense and atmospheric, it's easy to see why this series kept young readers coming back for more.
