Stormwatch #6

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Stormwatch #6 closes out "The Dark Side Finale" with a cover that makes the threat immediately clear: a massive, multi-limbed Daemonite creature crackles with electric blue energy at center stage, while a Stormwatch team member is hurled backward above it and another — bald and grimacing — fights desperately from the rubble below amid walls of flame. Miguel Sepulveda's cover art captures the sheer scale of the alien menace bearing down on the team, promising the kind of all-hands-on-deck confrontation the "Wrath of the Daemonites!" banner boldly announces. Paul Cornell wraps his opening arc of this New 52 series with what looks to be a genuinely punishing showdown.
