Stormwatch #28

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Stormwatch #28 arrives in April 2014 with a cover by penciller Chris Batista and inker John Livesay that sends the team hurtling forward in full battle charge — a fierce blonde woman at the fore, a gold-and-white armored figure behind her, and a mix of teammates including a monstrous grey bruiser and a green-skinned figure surging alongside them against a deep space backdrop. The tagline "Battleground: Earth!" sets a suitably high-stakes tone for the "Endgame" story inside, crafted by writer Jim Starlin with art from Allan Jefferson, Cliff Richards, and Wayne Faucher. It's a solid entry in the team's New 52 run that fans of cosmic superhero action will want on their shelf.
