Stormwatch #15

The tagline says it all — "His Team Against Him!" — and Will Conrad's cover delivers on that tension beautifully, with a menacing armored figure in black lunging forward while a glowing, golden-costumed figure swoops from above and several teammates charge through a blazing doorway behind him. Peter Milligan's "Betrayal, Part One: Broken Hearts and Cold Feet" promises exactly the kind of internal fracture that makes superhero team books so compelling. This New 52 issue from February 2013 is a sharp reminder that Stormwatch's greatest threats don't always come from outside.
