Startling Comics #3

This anthology issue features "Don," a story in which a masked rider battles a group of hired killers in the Old West. After the killers murder the sheriff and frame rancher Tom Davis for the crime, the masked rider intervenes to protect the innocent man and expose the true murderers, with plans to become the new sheriff. The issue also includes a contest page offering cash prizes for solving puzzles and riddles, as well as featuring a Don Davis story involving naval warfare where British forces, aided by a character named Don, defeat a Nazi fleet by destroying their battleships.
