Marvel's Epic Comics imprint was home to some of the most distinctive science-fantasy of 1985, and Starstruck #4 is a fine example of why. Mike Kaluta's cover crackles with kinetic energy: a massively armored, ornately decorated warrior hauls a smaller figure skyward by a tether, exotic weaponry spinning through the air between them against a vivid circular backdrop. It's the kind of wildly imaginative, detail-packed artwork that makes you want to linger before you've even opened the cover, and with Elaine Lee's story "Under Alias" waiting inside, there's every reason to do just that.
