Starman #9
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIssue nine of James Robinson's acclaimed Starman run finds its hero in a tense, shadowy standoff — cover artist Tony Harris renders him crouched in a trenchcoat and goggles, gun drawn, while an older white-haired man cowers nervously beside him. Dominating the right side of the frame is a glowing, radiation-symbol-marked barrel labeled "Frey Chem," wreathed in ominous green-tinged flames that cast the whole scene in an unsettling, toxic light. It's a grimly atmospheric 1995 image that captures the noir sensibility Robinson and Harris brought to Opal City with confidence and style.
