“The Cadet and the Corsairs Part 4”

In "The Cadet and the Corsairs Part 4," Tolo, armed with a flaming brand and guided only by dim light, battles through the darkened corridors of the Starjammer, confronting the brutal Thorn pirates. As he reaches the bridge, he faces Captain Kaylix with a shocking revelation: the Hyrax drug the Committee relies on is derived from the embryo seeds of the Thorn people, forcing Tolo to question everything he's believed. Written by Kevin J. Anderson and illustrated by Jorge Lucas, this pivotal issue builds tension with stark visuals and a haunting moral dilemma. The cover by Tommy Ohtsuka captures the intensity of the moment.
