Seeking Luke Skywalker, and acting on information given to him by Doctor Aphra, Darth Vader travels to the planet Vrogas Vas. Upon jumping out of hyperspace he is attacked by a squadron of Rebel X-wing fighters, including Luke. Vader and Luke battle one another and both crash-land on different areas of the planet’s surface. Vader's sudden appearance commands the attention of Princess Leia, Han Solo and the rest of Luke's closest Rebel friends.
