Part of Dark Horse's acclaimed Clone Wars era storytelling, Star Wars: Republic #63 puts the morally complicated Jedi Quinlan Vos front and center — the cover tagline "Quinlan Vos: Assassin!" says it all. Brian Ching's cover art captures Vos mid-strike, red lightsaber blazing overhead as he looms over a second figure below him, his expression fierce and his dreadlocks and dark robes lending him a genuinely dangerous edge. With John Ostrander writing and Jan Duursema on interior art, "Striking from the Shadows" promises exactly the kind of tense, character-driven Clone Wars drama this creative team does so well.
