Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca #1

Marvel's 2022 series kicks off with a cover by Alex Maleev that beautifully captures the partnership at the heart of this galaxy-spanning story — Han Solo dominates the foreground, blaster raised and gaze alert, while in the lower distance two small figures (Han and Chewbacca, by the look of them) stand together against a warm, dusty alien landscape with the Millennium Falcon banking overhead. Writer Marc Guggenheim and artist David Messina launch "The Crystal Run Part 1," promising the kind of smuggler-and-Wookiee adventure that makes this duo so endlessly compelling. If you've ever wanted a series that puts the galaxy's most charming scoundrel and his co-pilot front and center, this is a fine place to start.
