Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir #3

The tension between two Sith powerhouses crackles right off the cover of this 2014 Dark Horse entry in the Son of Dathomir miniseries — a snarling, horned Darth Maul looms over a steely Count Dooku, lightsaber blade thrust close as the cover boldly declares "Count Dooku: Captured!" Chris Scalf's painted-style cover art renders both figures with striking detail, from the red-and-black war-paint of Maul's rage-filled face to the cool composure of Dooku's silver-bearded profile. Writer Jeremy Barlow and artist Juan Frigeri deliver part three of a story that clearly isn't letting up on the pressure.
