Star Wars: Ahsoka #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeStar Wars: Ahsoka #5 translates what critics and fans widely regarded as the most emotionally significant episode of the Disney+ Ahsoka series into sequential-art form — the long-deferred reunion between Ahsoka Tano and her deceased master Anakin Skywalker within the mystical World Between Worlds. As the first comic adaptation to dramatize that master-apprentice reckoning in print, it marks a meaningful moment in how the prequel-era Clone Wars legacy crosses into modern Marvel canon storytelling. The issue also puts into comics panels for the first time within this adaptation the Force-sensitivity reveal of Jacen Syndulla, a narrative thread with lasting implications for the Star Wars canon lineage of Kanan Jarrus. Coming midway through Ahsoka's first-ever solo Marvel run, this chapter is the emotional centerpiece around which the entire eight-issue series is built.

The Star Wars: Ahsoka comic series was announced as Ahsoka Tano's first-ever solo Marvel Comics run, following the same creative team — writer Rodney Barnes and artists Steven Cummings and Georges Jeanty — that had previously adapted both seasons of The Mandalorian for Marvel. Issue #5 returned Cummings to interior art duties (he alternated with Jeanty across the series) and carried the title 'Shadow Warrior,' adapting the Dave Filoni-written-and-directed television episode of the same name. Editor Mark Paniccia and assistant editor Mikey J. Basso shepherded the issue through production, with Rod Reis providing the primary cover and Phil Noto, Brian Matyas, Leinil Francis Yu, and Takashi Okazaki contributing variant covers.
