Star Wars #43

The second chapter of the "Rite of Passage" arc arrives in this 2002 Dark Horse installment, with a cover by Jan Duursema that pulls you straight into the tension. A green-skinned, long-haired figure stares down the viewer with cool defiance, multiple blasters aimed in from the edges of the frame — whoever this person is, they're clearly in a very tight spot. John Ostrander and Duursema continue to deliver the kind of character-driven Star Wars storytelling that made this ongoing series a genuine treat for fans of the Expanded Universe.
