“Revenge of the Astromech”

There's something deeply satisfying about a cover that lets R2-D2 do the talking — or rather, the beeping. Mike Mayhew's illustration places the plucky astromech front and center in what appears to be an Imperial corridor, surrounded by a scattered pile of defeated stormtroopers on all sides. With a title like "Revenge of the Astromech," this 2017 Marvel issue from the Aaron, Larroca, and Delgado team promises that everyone's favorite barrel-shaped droid is very much having his moment.
