Star Wars #19

The tagline says it all — "Four Against the Galaxy!" — and Hugh Fleming's painted cover delivers on that promise with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia weapons drawn and pushing forward through blaster fire, the Millennium Falcon looming behind them. The composition has a pleasingly retro, cinematic energy that suits the 2014 Dark Horse era perfectly. With Brian Wood writing and Carlos D'Anda on art with colors by Gabe Eltaeb, this is a fine entry in one of the most fondly remembered runs of Star Wars comics from that period.
