Star Wars #16

A squadron of X-wings tears across a lush, mountain-ringed landscape with cannons blazing, and the cover tagline "Friendly Fire!" hints at dangerous tension within Rebel ranks. Brian Wood's run on this Dark Horse series has consistently delivered grounded, character-driven storytelling set in the classic Star Wars era, and issue #16 looks to raise the stakes considerably. Sean Cooke's cover artwork captures the raw kinetic energy of starfighter combat beautifully, making this one hard to leave on the shelf.
