Star Trek #35

Part One of "The Tabukan Syndrome" kicks off with a cover that immediately sets an ominous tone — an imposing, horse-headed alien figure draped in a sweeping violet robe dominates the composition, hands clasped against a backdrop of space, planets, and a city wreathed in fire and explosions. Flanking the chaos below are the familiar faces of Spock and Kirk, their expressions grave as they survey the destruction unfolding between them. Rod Whigham's pencils and Jerome Moore's inks give the whole scene a tense, cinematic weight that makes this 1992 DC series feel every bit as epic as the voyages it's based on.
