The Khitomer Conflict" reaches its fourth and final chapter with this 2013 IDW issue, and the cover by Erfan Fajar sets a suitably tense tone — Spock in blue, Uhura in red, and Sulu in gold stand united against a swirling nebula backdrop, with the U.S.S. Enterprise gleaming below them in warp-lit space. The trio's guarded, determined expressions suggest the crew has been pushed hard across this arc's four installments. Written by Mike Johnson and Roberto Orci, it's a satisfying close to one of the Kelvin-timeline comic series' more ambitious multi-part stories.
