After dating for a few months, Tina and Jon were slowly falling in love. But she wanted to leave their small town, while Jon is content there. When an old friend offers to set her up with a job interview in London, she goes to prove her independence. Her career working for a cosmetics company there takes off and she starts seeing other men. She has agreed to marry Ken when Jon appears, bringing news that her father has been seriously injured in a car accident.
