Star-Lord #8 finds Peter Quill and a sharp-looking companion striding confidently through a room littered with a pile of thoroughly defeated alien bodies — a purple tentacled creature, a green-skinned brute, a blue figure, and several others sprawled across the floor, with one alien cheerfully snapping a selfie stick photo of the whole scene in the background. The cover art by Mike Hawthorne captures that perfect blend of cool swagger and comic absurdity that makes this series such a good time. Sam Humphries continues "Out of Orbit" here, with Javier Garrón, Will Robson, and colorist Antonio Fabela bringing the interiors to life.
