The Old Man claims that he is an alien and that Ken Connell, as the new Star Brand bearer, has a duty to return with him to another world and assist him in using the Brand in an alien war. Ken thinks the Old Man is lying and guesses that his past encounters with the Old Man and the alien were decoys created by the Old Man. Ken decides to return his super-suit to the Old Man, but changes his mind. Later, the Old Man hits Debbie to trick Ken into leaving Barb and her kids so he can abduct them. Ken figures out the plan and fights the Old Man from earth into space, where the Old Man abandons Ken.
