The penultimate chapter of Loughridge and Riegel's Standstill arrives with a cover that's as unsettling as it is artistically striking — a fragmented, painterly composition where two figures loom in close proximity, one with a speech bubble reading simply "PREGO," while scattered objects glow in the background with an eerie warmth. That abstract, almost expressionistic style gives this sixth of eight issues a sense of dread and intimacy that's hard to shake.
