Squadron Supreme #8

Against a backdrop of billowing orange flame, this issue of Squadron Supreme presents a tense tableau of costumed figures — a broad-shouldered man in green, a muscular combatant in red and black trading a fierce grip, a figure in dark armor with a glowing chest piece, and a blonde woman crouching at the fore — all radiating a sense of barely contained conflict. Howard Chaykin scripts "Gather, Darkness!" with art by Marco Checchetto and colors by Matt Milla bringing the interior pages to life, while cover art by Mike Deodato gives the whole thing a brooding, cinematic charge.
