Part five of the "Power to the People!" arc puts the Squadron Supreme front and center in a striking group portrait by cover artist Greg Land. Dominating the foreground is a scarred, eye-patched figure whose intense gaze sets a tense, authoritative tone, while behind him five teammates — including an armored figure with a glowing chest piece, a woman with flowing blonde hair and glowing eyes, a figure draped in an American flag-patterned wrap, and a fiery red-skinned woman — radiate an ominous, barely-contained power. Howard Chaykin and Marco Turini's "Overpowered!" penultimate chapter promises the kind of high-stakes superhero drama this 2009 series has been building toward.
