In "Heap Big Medicine," Spunky Kidd and his talking horse Stanley pull off a wild stunt by sneaking into an Indian village to spy on secret ceremonial dances—Stanley disguised in a female outfit, Spunky hidden in a papoose pouch. When Moose Nose takes a sudden interest in his "new bride," chaos erupts, but Spunky pulls off a surprise: he proves he has real big medicine by making a horse talk. With Stanley warning of the Great Spirit’s wrath, the villagers are forced to let them go—though not before the whole ordeal leaves everyone speechless.

In "Mouse-Trapped," Spunky Kidd finds himself caught in the middle of an unexpected showdown when Stanley, newly armed with reading glasses, declares war on the barn’s mouse population after learning they devour vast amounts of grain. What starts as a determined campaign quickly spirals into chaos when the mice retaliate—forcing Stanley to surrender, not to their claws, but to their demand that he read them "The Town and Country Mouse" as a peace offering.

Pepito’s determined to get his mother a special birthday gift, so he sets up a makeshift barber shop for kids—cutting hair at a bargain price to earn fast cash. When Pedro the barber storms in, things spiral into chaos, breaking pottery and drawing a police officer’s attention. The officer steps in to sort things out, and Pepito ends up with both compensation and a surprising second chance to help his neighbor.

When the ranch hires a new cook, Wun Long Hop, his pies and donuts quickly become the most tempting treats around—especially for Spunky Kidd and Stanley, who can't resist a second helping. When Wun Long Hop threatens to go on strike unless the two stop stealing his treats, the whole ranch faces a dinnerless night unless someone steps in.

A pig peeks through a window, practically drooling over a feast Goofy Gander is setting up—only to ruin the surprise when he blurts out the treats he sees. Goofy’s not mad at the pig for eavesdropping, but because the pig’s loud enthusiasm has spoiled the surprise party he was planning for himself.
