Spooky Spooktown #29

This Giant-Size Harvey Comics treat from 1969 brings together the whole friendly haunted crew — Spooky, Casper, Poil, the Ghostly Trio, and Wendy are all previewed in sidebar portraits along the left — while the cover itself is pure cozy charm: two little ghosts lounging on a green sofa, happily munching pretzels from a bowl as they watch television together. At a quarter a copy, Spooky Spooktown #29 delivers a reassuringly warm, snack-filled slice of Harvey humor, and with a story titled "The Genie Is a Meanie" waiting inside, there's clearly some spirited mischief on the way.
