Spooky #19
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpooky, Harvey's "tuff little ghost," makes quite an entrance on the cover of this 1958 issue — bursting straight through a heavy metal safe, derby hat knocked askew, with a characteristically grumpy scowl and smoke curling around him from the impact. It's a wonderfully expressive image that captures everything charming about the little specter: even solid steel is no match for his stubborn determination. At a dime a copy, this is a great snapshot of Harvey Comics' fun, kid-friendly humor line in full swing.
