On a mission to Boo! in new places, Spooky arrives in a land of blue elves. The elves have heard the legend of a singular ghost named Casper who is friendly and helpful, and that this particular friendly and helpful ghost would be visiting their community. When Spooky arrives, he is taken for Casper and is given the titular "Big Welcome" as the friendly and helpful ghost they were expecting. So content is the fattened spook after a gluttonous meal topped off by a huge cake, that he is in no condition to Boo!... Just in time for the blue elves' "terrible enemy Hoggy Oggie the Ogre" to show up.
