Harvey Comics' pint-sized phantom proves he's every bit as tough as his tagline promises in this 1969 installment of Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost. The cover says it all: Spooky squares off with steely determination against a massive, snarling green blob-ghost with jagged teeth and glowing yellow eyes, while a terrified bulldog scrambles away in a splash of water. It's a wonderfully lively scene that captures exactly the kind of spirited, spooky-but-funny charm that made Harvey Comics such a delight in the era.
