“Swamp Spirit”

In "Swamp Spirit," the mummy of King Ramzu awakens with a singular purpose: to reunite with his beloved Queen Oaana in death. Haunted by ancient longing, he steals her mummy and vanishes into the wilds, evading lions and a persistent police officer before finding quiet resolution—witnessed by a skeptical girl reporter who muses, "Can't print the story... who would believe me?" The story, illustrated by the Iger Shop, blends eerie atmosphere with a melancholic twist, all rendered in haunting detail on a cover by Jay Disbrow.
