“Apornas natt!”

Gamen, eller Adrian Toomes som han heter i det civila, vårdas på sjukhus för svåra skador men repar sig när han inspireras av Nathan Lubensky, May Parkers invalidiserade pojkvän. Han återupptar sin brottsliga bana och gömmer sig på samma vilohem som där Nathan och May bor. När Peter Parker besöker sin moster känner han igen Toomes som Gamen och ingriper som Spindelmannen.
