Spindelmannen #10/1986
In "Bekännelser!", Spider-Man, stripped of his spider sense and rescued by the Kingpin, races to uncover the truth behind the Hobgoblin’s blackmail campaign targeting Harry and Jonah. With no other leads, he reactivates his old mechanical spider tracer to track down the masked menace, leading to a brutal showdown that forces the Goblin to confront a past he thought was buried—his own journals reduced to ash, and the building trembling on the edge of destruction.
In "Slutstriden!", Spider-Man pursues the Hobgoblin through a fiery chase that ends in a crashing battle van and a river explosion. After rescuing only the villain’s mask, he returns to the Daily Bugle, where J. Jonah Jameson has handed over editorial control to Robbie Robertson, now running the paper under Jameson’s new role as publisher. Drawn by an urgent pull, Spider-Man swings into Central Park, where a massive alien structure looms—its presence undeniable, its purpose unknown. The journey into the unknown begins.
In the aftermath of a battle, the Avengers reunite—only to be stunned by Hawkeye’s return with his new wife, Mockingbird, and the miraculous restoration of Vision’s body. As Thor arrives and Wasp grapples with the sudden reunion, Vision senses a massive energy surge in Central Park, and before anyone can react, six Avengers are suddenly whisked away to the mysterious realm of the Secret Wars.
In "Secret Wars intro," the Thing and Alicia Masters share a quiet day in Central Park, enjoying a rare moment of peace. But their calm is shattered when The Thing, The Torch, and Mr. Fantastic are suddenly snatched from Earth and transported to the mysterious, battle-scarred realm of The Secret Wars planet.
