Spidey #69
In "Le crépuscule des mutants !", the tide turns violently as villains overwhelm the heroes, destroying their base and trapping their allies. With Thor and the Enchantress arriving too late to stop the onslaught, the X-Men make an unexpected alliance with Magneto—just as the Wasp seizes her chance to escape. Written by Jim Shooter and illustrated by Bob Layton, with inks by John Beatty and colors by Christie Scheele, this 1985 issue unfolds in a tense, high-stakes arc where even the alien village that shelters the survivors holds a secret: its very ground is watched by Galactus. The cover, by Jean-Yves Mitton, captures the moment of desperate hope beneath an unforgiving sky.
