Spider-Woman #10

The 2023 Spider-Woman series (Vol. 8) was written by Steve Foxe with interior art by Ig Guara and a cover by Leinil Francis Yu for this issue; editors M.R. Daniel and Ellie Pyle oversaw production under Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski. The four young heroes at the story's center — Cadet Marvel, Hellrune, Liberty, and Moon Squire — originated in Marvel's October 2023 New Champions variant cover program, itself inspired by the commercial success of Spider-Boy; Foxe described reverse-engineering actual characters and backstories from those cover designs as 'unlike any other creative process he had ever been involved in.' The series ran concurrently with the Gang War crossover in its early issues before pivoting to the San Francisco/Assembly arc that culminated here.
