Spider-Verse #4

Part of Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars event, this penultimate issue of the Spider-Verse miniseries brings together a web-slinging ensemble on a cover by Nick Bradshaw that crackles with energy. A looming, snarling Green Goblin dominates the composition, bearing down on Spider-Gwen at the center while multiple spider-heroes — including Spider-Man, Spider-Ham, and Spider-Woman — surge into action around her, with a cluster of classic villains crowding in from above. Mike Costa, André Araújo, and colorist Rachelle Rosenberg deliver a series that clearly delights in the sheer variety of spider-powered champions the multiverse has to offer.
