Spider-Man & Wolverine #7

The seventh chapter of "The Deaths of Spider-Man & Wolverine" arrives with a cover that splits the two heroes right down the middle — Wolverine's battered, bloodied face glaring from the left half while Spider-Man's masked visage stares out from the right, a city in flames and a swarm of pink-clad ninja-like figures looming in the background. The divided composition, rendered by Kaare Andrews with vivid color work from Brian Reber, perfectly captures the dual-hero tension at the heart of this Marc Guggenheim–penned series. Both characters look worse for wear, making this issue feel like the stakes have never been higher.
