The odd-couple pairing of Spider-Man and Venom gets a delightfully charming treatment in this 2020 Marvel series by writer Mariko Tamaki and artist Gurihiru. Gurihiru's cover captures the dynamic perfectly: a chibi-style Spider-Man stands arms-crossed and dripping with something yellow, while a looming, tongue-lolling Venom crouches behind him — both of them surrounded by a ring of snapping, fanged carnivorous plants that clearly have opinions about their presence.
