Spider-Man's Tangled Web #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis wonderfully offbeat 2002 entry in Marvel's Spider-Man's Tangled Web anthology series promises something delightfully different, with the cover by Duncan Fegredo setting the tone perfectly. A heavyset man squeezed into a Spider-Man costume munches a burger and reads a comic called Amphibian Fantasy: Frog-Man in the middle of a busy city square, while an actual Frog-Man leaps dramatically overhead — much to the bewilderment of the crowd below. Writer Zeb Wells and artist Fegredo look to be having a great deal of fun with "I Was a Teenage Frog-Man," and the cover alone makes a strong case for picking this one up.
